7月16日，特斯拉在官微上宣布，“Model Y L，金秋見”。
澎湃新聞獲悉，Model Y L是特斯拉上海超級工廠出品的旗艦車型。該車型是一款大六座豪華純電SUV，軸距超過3米，車長約5米。Model Y L為全輪驅(qū)動車型，具有超長續(xù)航、超大空間和更高級的內(nèi)飾，定位介于Model Y和Model X之間，業(yè)內(nèi)人士預(yù)計售價在40萬元左右。該車型將于今年秋季上市交付。（澎湃新聞記者 吳遇利）
