據外媒消息，《銀河戰士Prime4：超越》將與今年發售，而開發商Retro Studio的下一步工作已經有不少人開始討論了。
根據外網爆料博主Reece “Kiwi Talkz” Reilly透露：Retro Studio會在《銀河戰士Prime4：超越》后繼續深耕該系列，制作《銀河戰士Prime 5》。
Reilly認為，Retro Studio在制作《銀河戰士 Prime》系列游戲方面擁有獨一無二的優勢，這正是其繼《銀河戰士 Prime 4：超越》之后不愿再開發其他系列的原因。然而，他并不認為 Retro 會成為“銀河戰士 Prime 工作室”，在《銀河戰士 Prime 5》之后，他們可能會轉向新的 IP。
