最近有位05后美國小哥，在中國互聯(lián)網(wǎng)掀起了一場(chǎng)“抽象盛典”。

他就是在YouTube坐擁3800萬粉絲的頂流主播IShowSpeed（經(jīng)常簡(jiǎn)寫為Speed），本名小達(dá)倫·沃特金斯（Darren Watkins Jr.），因其直播時(shí)情緒高漲、表情豐富、動(dòng)作夸張，被中國網(wǎng)友戲稱為“甲亢哥”。

3月24日晚，Speed在上海開啟了自己的中國行直播，吸引了約560萬人觀看。

隨后，他在北京、鄭州、成都、重慶、香港、深圳等多地進(jìn)行直播，穿花襖、看舞獅、吃火鍋、嘗豆汁，騎共享單車、學(xué)習(xí)少林功夫……毫無包袱地給大家整活，中國行7場(chǎng)直播在YouTube的累計(jì)觀看人次已突破 5500萬。

假如你還不知道“甲亢哥”是誰的話，速速跟著英大一起來補(bǔ)課。誰能想到，這位“國際頂流”還只是一個(gè)20歲的小孩哥！他到底是怎么火的呢？

就在去年，《Forbes》還為他做過一次專訪，文章標(biāo)題是：How IShowSpeed Became A Global Phenomenon，“甲亢哥”是怎么火遍全球的？

Streaming from his bedroom in Cincinnati, Ohio, Speed began his journey with just a handful ofviewerstuning in to watch him play FIFA, NBA 2K, and Fortnite.

在美國俄亥俄州辛辛那提的一間臥室里，“甲亢哥”邁出了他的直播第一步。那時(shí)，他的觀眾寥寥無幾，只是幾個(gè)無意點(diǎn)進(jìn)來看他打 FIFA、NBA 2K 和 Fortnite 的路人。

"When I first started my stream, I only had one viewer, two viewers, and that kept me going,” he explained. “In week two, I started averaging four viewers. In week three, I started averaging 17 viewers. As more people watched, I thought I could get somewhere with this, and I had fun. So that's what kept me going."

At the time, his streams were raw and mostly focused on gaming content like NBA 2K . His unscripted authenticity quickly resonated with fans, helping him build a loyal community. Whether it was his over-the-top enthusiasm when winning or his reactions in multiple languages , Speed’s personality became, and still remains, his most powerful trait.

最初的直播內(nèi)容很“糙”，主要都是NBA 2K游戲?qū)崨r。他的真性情，幫助他收獲了第一批鐵粉。“甲亢哥”贏的時(shí)候會(huì)激動(dòng)得飛起，用多種語言表達(dá)各種反應(yīng)，他的個(gè)性至今仍是他最大的殺手锏。

As his fanbase grew, so did his ambition. In 2023, Speed took his streams beyond his bedroom and started to travel internationally, opening a new chapter for his career.

而隨著粉絲數(shù)量節(jié)節(jié)攀升，他的野心也越來越大了。2023年，“甲亢哥”把直播搬出了臥室，踏上了環(huán)球直播之路，正式迎來事業(yè)的新篇章。

"Our Euro tour was my first tour, and weimprovisedthat so well. It wasn't supposed to be a tour at all, but we made it one. I was like, ‘Whoa, this is something that I'm actually doing big.’ Then, after the Euro tour, I followed up with the Southeast Asia one."
“我們當(dāng)時(shí)搞的歐洲直播巡演，是我的第一次巡演，原本根本不算什么‘巡演’，全靠即興發(fā)揮。結(jié)果效果超出預(yù)期，我當(dāng)時(shí)就想，‘哇，我居然在做這么大的事。’歐洲巡演之后，我緊接著又去了東南亞。”

His Southeast Asia tour in 2024 marked atipping point. In Indonesia, he made history by garnering over one million concurrent viewers on a singlelivestream.

"When I reached that moment, I just started crying because [there were] a million live viewers, something that I always dreamed of. That's the accolade that everystreamerwants to reach. And I did it alone. No collab. No event. Just me streaming. That's true art right there."

But Speed isn’t stopping anytime soon. He told me that his goal is to livestream in every country with the hopes to “try out the national food and really connect with the people."

"I have been doing this for five years now. I feel like a veteran. It feels like I'm getting older. But I want to keep going higher, and I will.”

2025年，“甲亢哥”終于來到了中國。其實(shí)，之前他在中國的互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上就小火了一把，就是他在直播中聽大張偉的《陽光彩虹小白馬》聽破防了。

因?yàn)楦备璨糠值母柙~“你是內(nèi)內(nèi)個(gè)內(nèi)內(nèi)，內(nèi)個(gè)內(nèi)個(gè)內(nèi)內(nèi)”， 與黑人的歧視用語“Nigger”發(fā)音相似，他的表情先是從傻笑變成不可置信，最后憤怒地砸起了鍵盤，成為互聯(lián)網(wǎng)名場(chǎng)面。

當(dāng)然，現(xiàn)在誤會(huì)已經(jīng)解開了，“甲亢哥”這次來中國多次開心地和粉絲大合唱。

而且，據(jù)說他今天晚上就要和大張偉見面！！！
