據媒體報道，當地時間5月12日，國際金價收跌。國際貴金屬方面，倫敦金現跌2.73%，報3235.580美元/司；COMEX黃金跌3.06%，報3241.8美元/盎司。
5月13日，受國際金價跳水影響，國內多家金店足金飾品價格下調至千元以下。
其中，周大福、周六福足金飾品下調至992元/克，較前日每克下跌16元，兩天每克共下跌30元；老廟足金飾品價格下調至987元/克，較前日每克下跌13元，兩天每克共下跌32元。
