In Lodz, Poland, on a narrow plot of land only 22 meters wide, a unique residence was born - RE: LONG HOUSE. This project, designed by architect Marcin Tomaszewski for the REFORM ARCHITEKT studio, was recognized in the innovative architecture category of the 2020 ICONIC AWARDS international competition, standing out in the field of architecture for its unique design.

在波蘭羅茲，一塊僅 22 米寬的狹長地塊上，誕生了一座獨具魅力的住宅 ——RE: LONG HOUSE。這座由 Marcin Tomaszewski 建筑師為 REFORM ARCHITEKT 工作室打造的項目，在 2020 年 ICONIC AWARDS 國際競賽中榮獲創(chuàng)新建筑類別的認(rèn)可，以其獨特的設(shè)計在建筑領(lǐng)域脫穎而出。

From the perspective of the project’s site selection and planning, the 2,500 square meter plot is not small, but the 22-meter width limit poses a challenge to the design. In addition, there are several trees on the plot that need to be preserved, some of which are located close to the only entrance to the plot. Under these restrictions, Architect Tomaszewski cleverly conceived and designed a rectangular house that fully utilizes the plot space while avoiding interference with the surrounding natural environment, achieving a harmonious coexistence between architecture and nature.

從項目的選址和規(guī)劃來看，2500 平方米的地塊雖然面積不算小，但 22 米的寬度限制為設(shè)計帶來了挑戰(zhàn)。此外，地塊上還有幾棵需要保留的樹木，其中部分樹木的位置緊鄰地塊唯一的入口。在這些限制條件下，Tomaszewski 建筑師巧妙構(gòu)思，設(shè)計出一座長方形的住宅，既充分利用了地塊空間，又避免對周邊自然環(huán)境造成干擾，實現(xiàn)了建筑與自然的和諧共生。

In terms of outdoor decoration design, RE: LONG HOUSE presents a simple and geometric modern style. The main body of the building is composed of multiple geometric blocks, which create a unique dynamic beauty through the staggered arrangement of the blocks. The black powder-coated steel troughs as the building's detailed decoration not only echo the owner's requirements for a modernist appearance, but also add a sense of toughness and refinement to the building. White and graphite plaster and stone from Grassi Pietre together constitute the building's facade. The combination of different materials forms a sharp contrast in color and texture, allowing the building to show rich layers in simplicity.

在室外裝飾設(shè)計上，RE: LONG HOUSE 展現(xiàn)出簡潔而富有幾何感的現(xiàn)代風(fēng)格。建筑主體由多個幾何形狀的體塊組成，通過體塊之間的錯落有致，營造出獨特的動態(tài)美感。黑色粉末涂層鋼槽作為建筑的細(xì)節(jié)裝飾，不僅呼應(yīng)了業(yè)主對現(xiàn)代主義外觀的要求，還為建筑增添了一份硬朗與精致。白色和石墨色的抹灰以及來自 Grassi Pietre 的石材，共同構(gòu)成了建筑的外立面，不同材質(zhì)的搭配在色彩和質(zhì)感上形成鮮明對比，讓建筑在簡潔中彰顯出豐富的層次。

The front of the building is designed as a sculpture. Except for the entrance door, there are no windows in this part, which makes the front of the building more integrated and sculptural. The windows are cleverly set on the west and south sides of the building. This layout not only ensures sufficient indoor lighting, but also allows residents to enjoy the outdoor scenery in different directions. At the same time, the design of the windows is integrated with the overall geometric form of the building and becomes part of the building's appearance.

建筑的前部被當(dāng)作一件雕塑來設(shè)計，除了入口門，這部分沒有設(shè)計窗戶，使得建筑正面更具整體感和雕塑感。而窗戶則被巧妙地設(shè)置在建筑的西側(cè)和南側(cè)，這樣的布局既保證了室內(nèi)充足的采光，又能讓住戶欣賞到不同方向的室外景色。同時，窗戶的設(shè)計也與建筑整體的幾何形態(tài)相融合，成為建筑外觀的一部分。

Stepping into the room, RE: LONG HOUSE continues the modern and simple style. The interior space is dominated by white and gray wooden elements, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Among them, the staircase from Spain is particularly eye-catching. The staircase board is only 5 cm thick, the cantilever design is 150 cm, and the titanium pins inside make it the visual focus of the room. Such a unique staircase design not only saves space, but also shows exquisite craftsmanship and modern shape, adding an artistic atmosphere to the entire interior space.

步入室內(nèi)，RE: LONG HOUSE 延續(xù)了現(xiàn)代簡約的風(fēng)格。室內(nèi)空間以白色和灰色的木質(zhì)元素為主，營造出溫馨而舒適的氛圍。其中，來自西班牙的樓梯格外引人注目，僅 5 厘米厚的樓梯板，150 厘米的懸挑設(shè)計，以及內(nèi)部的鈦制銷釘，使其成為室內(nèi)的視覺焦點。這樣獨特的樓梯設(shè)計不僅節(jié)省了空間，還展現(xiàn)出精湛的工藝和現(xiàn)代感十足的造型，為整個室內(nèi)空間增添了一份藝術(shù)氣息。

The house is also equipped with a double garage, which completes the functionality of the house. In terms of room layout, full consideration is given to living comfort and space rationality. Each functional area is clearly divided and interconnected, allowing residents to move freely and smoothly in their daily lives.

住宅還配備了一個雙車位車庫，完善了住宅的功能。在房間布局上，充分考慮了居住的舒適性和空間的合理性，各個功能區(qū)域劃分明確又相互連通，讓住戶在日常生活中能夠自由流暢地活動。

The interior and exterior decoration design of LONG HOUSE is a successful exploration of modern architectural aesthetics based on the restrictions of the plot and the needs of the owner. It creates a modern residence that not only meets the living function but also has artistic appeal through simple geometric forms, carefully selected materials and unique detail design, providing an excellent example for architectural design on narrow plots.

LONG HOUSE 的室內(nèi)外裝飾裝修設(shè)計，是在應(yīng)對地塊限制和滿足業(yè)主需求的基礎(chǔ)上，對現(xiàn)代建筑美學(xué)的一次成功探索。它通過簡潔的幾何形式、精心挑選的材質(zhì)以及獨特的細(xì)節(jié)設(shè)計，打造出一個既滿足居住功能，又富有藝術(shù)感染力的現(xiàn)代住宅，為狹長地塊的建筑設(shè)計提供了優(yōu)秀的范例。
