In recent years, Xizang has ambitiously planned and advanced the Lhasa South-North Mountain Afforestation Project. The harsh Lhasa sunlight has etched its mark on the faces of three young workers—shown here planting Mongolian pines in the Lhalu Wetland ecological restoration zone of the project's northern section. Through their collective efforts, the once-barren slopes now boast lush forests, while red-billed gulls soar above the wetlands, bearing vivid testament to their remarkable achievements.
