2024 the 6th Japan International Design Pioneer Award’s Ceremony has successfully concluded on July 19 in Tokyo, Japan! The ceremony brought together top talents and innovative works from the global design community. At this global event, Deng Xianlong, an architectural designer from China, was awarded the title of "Top 10 Most Influential Designers" for his outstanding design capabilities and unique architectural concepts. This honor further consolidated his leading position in the international architectural design community.

日本國際先鋒設計獎（Japan IDPA AWARD）創(chuàng)立于2018年，由中歐國際設計協(xié)會（CEIDA）、中國國際設計網(wǎng)（CIID88）、ATELIER TEMMA株式會社、日本建筑與室內(nèi)協(xié)會等聯(lián)合主辦，旨在表彰國際知名設計師及設計機構(gòu)的卓越成就。作為全球設計界的重要賽事，日本IDPA AWARD不僅展示了最前沿的設計理念，還推動了全球文化創(chuàng)意產(chǎn)業(yè)的發(fā)展，為各國間的文化交流與合作搭建了橋梁。

Japan IDPA AWARD was founded in 2018 and is jointly sponsored by China-European International Design Association (CEIDA), China International Design Network (CIID88), ATELIER TEMMA Co., Ltd., Japan Architecture and Interior Association, etc., aiming to commend international Outstanding achievements of well-known designers and design agencies. As an important event in the global design community, Japan's IDPA AWARD not only showcases the most cutting-edge design concepts, but also promotes the development of the global cultural and creative industries and builds a bridge for cultural exchanges and cooperation between countries.

第六屆日本IDPA AWARD頒獎典禮于2024年6月在東京隆重舉行。活動邀請了中日兩國政要、設計界領(lǐng)袖，以及眾多知名設計機構(gòu)的代表出席。此次盛典得到了百家主流媒體及行業(yè)媒體的廣泛報道，包括新浪、搜狐、網(wǎng)易、今日頭條等。

The sixth Japan IDPA AWARD awards ceremony will be held in Tokyo in June 2024. The event invited political dignitaries, design leaders from China and Japan, as well as representatives from many well-known design institutions to attend. The ceremony received extensive coverage from hundreds of mainstream media and industry media including Sina, Sohu, NetEast, TouTiao and etc.

本屆IDPA AWARD的評審團由多位國際知名設計大師組成，包括評審團主席長谷川演(Hasegawa Hiromu)、飯島直樹(Iijima Naoki)、武石正宣(Takeishi Masanobu)、新谷典彥(Shinya Norihiko)等。大賽共收到來自全球多個國家和地區(qū)的近四千套參賽作品，最終評選出261件獲獎作品，涵蓋建筑景觀設計、室內(nèi)設計、產(chǎn)品設計等29個專業(yè)類別。

The jury of this year's IDPA AWARD is composed of a number of internationally renowned design masters, including jury chairman Hasegawa Hiromu, Iijima Naoki, Takeishi Masanobu, Shinya Norihiko, etc. The competition received nearly 4,000 sets of entries from many countries and regions around the world, and finally selected 261 winning works, covering 29 professional categories such as architectural landscape design, interior design, and product design.

鄧獻龍此次提交的參賽作品包括宜昌音樂小鎮(zhèn)和拉布雷瀝青坑博物館擴建項目。兩個項目都是非常有影響力的項目。宜昌音樂小鎮(zhèn)項目是設計師最為著名的作品之一，曾獲得MUSE設計獎金獎。作為世界級音樂城，它吸引了數(shù)十億元的基礎(chǔ)設施投資，政府對其在提升城市文化和經(jīng)濟發(fā)展方面的潛力給予了高度關(guān)注。拉布雷瀝青坑博物館擴建項目榮獲倫敦設計獎金獎，是洛杉磯文化景觀的重要補充。此擴建項目不僅保護了博物館，還在現(xiàn)場展示了更多化石收藏，提升了這一標志性地點的教育和歷史價值。

The entries submitted by Deng Xianlong this time include the Yichang Music Town and the Labre Tar Pits Museum Expansion project. Both projects were very impactful projects. The Yichang Music Town project is one of the designer's most famous works and has won the MUSE Design Gold Award. As a world-class music city, it has attracted billions of dollars in infrastructure investment, and the government has paid great attention to its potential to enhance the city's cultural and economic development. Winner of the London Design Gold Award, the Labre Tar Pits Museum expansion is an important addition to Los Angeles' cultural landscape. This expansion not only preserves the museum but also displays an expanded fossil collection on site, enhancing the educational and historical value of this iconic site.

鄧獻龍的職業(yè)經(jīng)歷非常豐富，曾在世界上最大的建筑公司Gensler擔任重要職位，在Universal Studio Hollywood, Vista Property, Bally’s等知名客戶的項目中施展他的設計才能。在Genesis AEC工作期間服務于Pfizer, Merck等知名藥物企業(yè)。現(xiàn)就職于Adrian Smith+Gordon Gill，繼續(xù)擔任建筑設計師一要職。

Deng Xianlong has a very extensive career experience. He had held important position at Gensler, the world’s largest architectural firm, and has displayed his design talents in projects for well-known clients such as Universal Studio Hollywood, Vista Property, and Bally’s. While working at Genesis AEC, he served well-known pharmaceutical companies such as Pfizer, Merck, etc. Currently working for Adrian Smith+Gordon Gill, he continues to hold a key position as an architectural designer.

經(jīng)過評審團們的審批，這兩個代表作品加上他豐富的履歷讓他在眾多參選者中脫穎而出。評委們一致認為鄧獻龍的作品質(zhì)量優(yōu)異，影響力大，設計思路新穎精妙，處于行業(yè)中的領(lǐng)先地位，是建筑設計界的頂尖人物。這些履歷讓他獲得了年度“前十名最具影響力設計師”的稱號。

After the review and approval of the jury, these two representative works and his abundant resume made him stand out among the many candidates. The judges unanimously believed that Deng Xianlong's works are of excellent quality, influential, novel and exquisite in design ideas, leading the industry, and a top figure in the architectural design world. These resumes earned him the title of "Top 10 Most Influential Designers" of the year.

Award Exhibition

雖然鄧獻龍未能親臨頒獎典禮現(xiàn)場，但他通過視頻遠程發(fā)表了獲獎感言。他的作品也在IDPA頒獎現(xiàn)場進行了展出。此次展出在頒獎典禮現(xiàn)場的場館神田明神文化交流館進行。展出包括了多項藝術(shù)作品，專業(yè)包括建筑設計、室內(nèi)設計、產(chǎn)品設計領(lǐng)域，獲獎展品都是最具創(chuàng)新和創(chuàng)造力的藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作。鄧獻龍的個人作品也展列其中，成為展覽的重點關(guān)注部分。他的兩個代表作品，宜昌音樂小鎮(zhèn)和拉布雷瀝青坑博物館擴建在展覽上獲得了參展者的好評。

Although Deng Xianlong was unable to attend the award ceremony in person, he delivered his acceptance speech remotely via video. His works were also exhibited at the IDPA awards ceremony. The exhibition was held at the Kanda Myojin Cultural Exchange Hall, the venue for the award ceremony. The exhibition includes a number of artistic works, specializing in the fields of architectural design, interior design, and product design. The award-winning exhibits are the most innovative and creative artistic creations. Deng Xianlong's personal works are also displayed and become the focus of the exhibition. Two of his representative works, Yichang Music Town and Labre Tar Pits Museum Expansion, received high praise from exhibitors at the exhibition.

神田明神文化交流館位于東京的神田明神神社內(nèi)，是一個專門為推廣日本傳統(tǒng)文化和藝術(shù)的多功能場所。除了作為文化傳播平臺外，該交流館在藝術(shù)展覽方面也具有重要地位。場館設有專門的展覽廳，也承辦了多次國際藝術(shù)交流活動，邀請國外藝術(shù)家參與展覽和創(chuàng)作，促進不同文化背景下的藝術(shù)對話。

Located inside the Kanda Myojin Shrine in Tokyo, the EDO Cultural Complex is a multi-purpose venue dedicated to promoting traditional Japanese culture and art. In addition to serving as a platform for cultural dissemination, the hall also plays an important role in art exhibitions. The venue has a series of exhibition halls and also regularly hosts a number of international art exchange activities, inviting foreign artists to participate in exhibitions and creations, and promoting artistic dialogue in different cultural backgrounds.
