“你pass了！”面試后聽到這句話，你該高興？還是該開始投下一家公司？別急，其實英文里的pass可不止一個意思，關鍵要看上下文！

當pass做及物動詞，有個意思特指“考試或面試通過、合格”。

1.成功完成考試或測試，達到或超過合格分數。

例句：

I passed the English proficiency test with a score of 90.

(我以 90 分的成績通過了英語水平考試。)

She passed all her classes with flying colors.

(她所有科目都取得了優異成績。)

2. 在面試中表現出色，獲得晉級下一輪面試或工作機會的機會。

最直接的說法，適合初學者，也很清晰。

更常見于口語中，側重結果（沒被錄用）。

I failed the interview.

帶有“失敗”的語感，語氣更重一些，不太常用于正式場合。
