"高敏感者”（highly sensitive person）簡稱HSP，高敏感的人會更深入地思考，更有創造力，并且比大多數人更擅長科學、更具有靈性，也具備更強的同理心，但也更容易哭，或者說感情更脆弱。

高敏感的人很容易受到過度刺激，如果你出門旅行，參觀完博物館之后，不會再去嘈雜的餐廳；如果你在飛機上總戴著降噪耳機，那你很可能是一個高敏感的人。

你需要更多的“宕機”時間，大約30%的人具有高敏感特征。貓、狗、馬、鳥中也會有高敏感者。

心理學家有一些專門用來識別HSP的問題，比如，你很容易被強烈的感官刺激所影響嗎？你能意識到環境中的微妙之處嗎？別人的情緒會影響你嗎？你對疼痛更敏感嗎？諸如此類。

心理學家伊萊恩·阿倫最早提出“高敏感”這個詞。

第一，他們通常喜歡深思熟慮。

如果你們在討論去哪里徒步，HSP可能已經考慮過很久了，他思考過陽光、路線、風力等種種細節，但不一定會發表意見。

如果HSP的意見與大多數人不同，他們可能會保持沉默，因為他們寧愿避免沖突，也不愿招人討厭。

第二，HSP更需要“宕機”和界限。

他們受到過度刺激后，需要時間恢復。

如果大家在一起聚會，很熱鬧的時候，忽然某人要離開，你不要感到吃驚。

他們的“宕機”時刻就是這樣無縫銜接在生活中，受夠了就不行了，也不想多做解釋。

HSP有明確的界限感，總的說來，他們的界限感比別人的更強，他們對別人的情緒有更強的感受力。

第三，HSP在育兒這件事上更為挑剔。

養育孩子的時候，他們也在重構自己的經歷，可能還會回味自己童年時期的痛苦，他們會為了孩子放棄通勤時間太長或需要頻繁出差的工作，他們更注重孩子的需求，并且伴隨著自我懷疑和對某種心底的遺憾的彌補。

第四，HSP需要避免過度刺激，一旦受到過度刺激，他們就難以清晰地思考，甚至失去身體的協調能力。

這種感覺經常與焦慮混淆。

所以，高敏感人士應該學會管理自己的這種狀況，面對工作壓力和績效考核時，要自己留出富余時間來安排家庭生活，給自己留出“宕機”時間。

第五，這個建議是給高敏感人士的。

在做對比試驗時，HSP組通常比普通組更安靜、更有禮貌，要求也更低。
