會議簡介 Introduction

多層次因果推斷研究是當代哲學的前沿領域，其核心在于揭示研究對象系統中具有層級性質的因果關系。隨著科學哲學研究的深入發展，傳統單一層面的因果分析范式已難以應對日益復雜的跨層次因果問題。基于上述研究背景與現實需求，中國科學院哲學研究所特舉辦為期兩天的專題研討會，旨在系統性探究上述理論困境與實踐挑戰。 本次研討會將立足哲學視角，系統探討多層次因果推斷的理論框架及其在科學解釋、科學推理與科學定律關鍵問題研究中的價值。會議旨在為因果研究搭建哲學方法論平臺，促進更具解釋力的因果理論體系的建立與發展。

Multilevel causal inference is an emerging focus in contemporary philosophy, dedicated to uncovering the layered structure of causation within complex systems. As research in the philosophy of science continues to evolve, traditional single-level models of causation are proving inadequate for addressing the growing challenges posed by cross-level causal interactions. In response to these developments, the Institute of Philosophy at the Chinese Academy of Sciences will host a two-day symposium to explore both the theoretical foundations and practical implications of multilevel causality. Approaching the topic from a philosophical perspective, the symposium will delve into the conceptual frameworks of multilevel inference and their significance for scientific explanation, reasoning, and lawhood. By fostering open dialogue and interdisciplinary exchange, the event aims to promote more robust and explanatory models of causation.
