關于【take off】

take off 一詞的意思本來是指“(飛機)起飛”，但是，在口語中經常表示“離開”的意思，口語中也可用 be off。

比如：

1. I am gonna take off . ( 我得走了。）

2. You are off now．I gotta take off as well．So maybe we can leave here together．(你要走了嗎?正好我也得離開了。或許我們可以一起離開這。)

3. Take yourself off right now! (你給我馬上走人!)

表示要走的說法還可以有：

I really gotta go．See you around．(我真的得走了。回頭見!)

Bye for now．／Catch you soon! (再見!)

I'd better be off．Take care! (我得告辭了。保重!)

So long! Remember to drop me a line at your convenience．(再見! 記得在你方便的時候寫信給我。)

此外，take off 還指“起飛”。

如：If an aircraft，bird or insect takes off．it leaves the ground and begins to fly．

take off 當然還可以表示“脫掉、拿開”的意思。

例如：During the intervals between classes，many students like to take off their shoes and chase each other on the grass or just walk around the campus to have a short break as if it is really a great way to relax.
