2022年9月寶山世外站在世外母體校多年國際教育領先發展和深厚積淀的肩膀上,結合本校的辦學特點,踐行世外教育集團“讓學生走向世界,讓世界走進學校”的辦學理念,開啟了高中學段融合教育之路,成立高中融合部,實施在“五育并舉”下的融合課程的教學實踐和創新探索。通過開設豐富的學術進階課程和全人發展課程,經由專業導師帶教、施以小班教學培養、倡導科學實驗探究、突出項目化學習等形式,培養學生擁有高尚的品格和德行、全面的素養和能力、寬廣的視野和胸懷、持久的志向和特長,為進入世界范圍內的頂尖大學繼續學習深造奠基。寶山世外在做好充分的跨學段課程建設、師資儲備培養、海外資源構建、升學路徑設計之后,現正式開啟自六年級開始的初中融合部。

初中融合部基于學習空間及其學習形式的四種不同組合,將在教學模式上做優化布局,融合了導學、教學、研學、自學四種學習形式,引領學生學會學習、學會探究、學會反思。

Shanghai Baoshan World Foreign Language School (hereinafter referred to as "Baoshan WFLS"), as a flagship direct school under the World Foreign Language Education Group, has entered its sixth academic year since its establishment in 2019. In September 2022, Baoshan World Foreign Language School, standing on the shoulders of years of leading international education development and the profound accumulation of its parent school, and combining its own educational characteristics, embarked on the path of integrated education at the high school level. Adhering to the educational philosophy of the World Foreign Language Education Group, "Let students go global, and bring the world into the school," the school established the High School Integrated Division. This division implements teaching practices and innovative explorations of an integrated curriculum under the principle of "all-round education with equal emphasis on moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education." Curriculum Practice
The middle school years are a crucial stage for the blossoming of creativity, the laying of academic foundations, the tempering of willpower and character, and the development of interpersonal skills. To this end, Integrated Junior High School Division will actively integrate students’ future academic needs with the essentials of holistic development. In curriculum implementation, we will fully embrace the principles of "emphasizing thematic learning, valuing project-based approaches, and enhancing the depth of thinking," thereby empowering children's growth.
Teaching Model
Integrated Junior High School Division, based on four different combinations of learning spaces and their corresponding learning formats, will optimize the layout of its teaching model. This model integrates four learning formats: guided learning, instructional learning, inquiry-based learning, and self-directed learning, leading students to learn how to study, how to explore, and how to reflect.
Student Assessment
In terms of student assessment, equal emphasis is placed on both process and outcomes, aiming to align the comprehensive academic evaluation of the junior high school phase with international academic evaluations at the same educational stage.
