To all organizations concerned and chemical engineering professionals:
FromJuly 14–18, 2025, the 12th World Congress of Chemical Engineering(WCCE 12),a long-standing, quadrennial, and academically premier "Olympic-level event" in the global chemical industry,will be held in Beijing, China, for the first time. Concurrently, the 21st Asian Pacific Confederation of Chemical Engineering Congress 2025(APCChE 2025)and the 2025 CIESC Annual Conference will also take place.
With the theme of “Paradigm Shifting in Chemical Engineering for Global Challenges”, WCCE 12 & APCChE 2025 comprises more than 10 supporting events, including the Opening and Closing ceremonies, Plenary Speeches at the main venue, 34 Thematic Sessions, a Roundtable Meeting for leaders in the chemical industry, an international chemical innovation exhibition, youth-themed activities related to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global University Student Chem-E-Car Friendly Competition, etc.
The event will keep abreast of the new fields of science and technology in the world to address the disruptive challenges facing the development of the chemical industry, revolving around four challenging topics:Education and Training; Fundamental Industry Reinfrastructure; Strategic and Emerging Industries; and Future Chemical Engineering and Smart Innovation.Consisting of more than 600 thought-provoking cutting-edge presentations and more than 5,000 delegates from over 50 countries and regions will share cutting-edge technologies and groundbreaking achievements, and jointly promote the prosperity and development of global chemical technologies.

SCEJ hosts the SDGs Special Event - Research Proposal on SDGs from Youth. In this event, students will present their proposals at the SDGs event in WCCE 12 & APCChE 2025 in Beijing, and discuss with participants how to collaborate and contribute to the achievement of SDGs through partnership.

6. International Chemical Engineering Innovation Expo 2025 (IChEIE2025)
With the theme of “Innovation Leads Industry Development, Green Empowers a Better Life” IChEIE2025 brings together global innovative achievements and stimulates potential investment sectors. Through a rich format of “one exhibition, three conferences, and six events”, it organizes thematic exhibitions focusing on areas such as high-end electronic chemicals, functional new materials, new energy, artificial intelligence, and green and low-carbon development. This effectively drives technological innovation and the development of new quality productive forces, providing new investment opportunities for the business community and business professionals.
7. New product and technology launches
The “New Product and New Technology Launches” is a crucial component of IChEIE2025. It will invite and select both supply and demand sides of scientific and technological achievements in the international arena to launch and exchange new products, new technologies, and related cutting-edge scientific and technological outcomes. They will also explore the magnificent sceneries of the ancient capital of Beijing with a history spanning thousands of years, appreciate the profound and pure cultural heritage, and experience the dual charm of “Intelligently Made in China” and cultural treasures, embarking on a journey of exploration together.
