Professor Liu Xinlu, vice-president of Beijing Foreign Studies University and an expert in Arabic studies, explains: "Battuta's Rihla is not just a written record; it uncovers the deeper cultural exchanges of the 14th century, far beyond commercial trade." He adds that Battuta's travels show us how human connection was forged through trust and respect.

“每當我經過沙塵暴，面對炎熱的天氣和扁平的輪胎時，都是中國人民的熱情讓我感動不已?！蹦顾诨貞浡猛緯r說。對于他來說，跨越絲綢之路的意義，不僅是重走歷史，更是感受那份跨越時空的人文精神。

"Every time I faced sandstorms, scorching heat, or flat tires, it was the kindness of the Chinese people that moved me deeply," recalls Mosta. For him, traversing the Silk Road is not just about retracing history, but about feeling the human spirit that transcends time and space.
