2023年11月19日，緬甸軍政府從10月23日開始，經過對邊境地區的外國人進行排查識別，將非法進入緬甸邊境地區的935名男性和82名女性共1017名中國公民通過第四特區勐拉口岸移交中國官員。
緬甸軍政府重申特別重視邊境地區執法，相關人員需要配合所在地區的相關安全機關進行執法。
