眼下，在霍爾果斯鐵路口岸，中歐（中亞）班列往來更加頻繁。據烏魯木齊鐵路局統計：今年截至6月15日，經霍爾果斯鐵路口岸進出境的中歐（中亞）班列已達4569列，同比增長27.1%，口岸過貨量達到634.06萬噸，同比增長22%。今年霍爾果斯日均進出境中歐（中亞）班列達到26列以上，創歷史新高。
