沙灘在夜色里像塊巨大的墨玉，每一步踩下去都能聽見沙粒摩擦的輕響，像是大地在說悄悄話。遠處的礁石上已經坐了個穿紅圍巾的老人，三腳架支在巖石縫里，相機鏡頭對準東方的海面，像尊沉默的雕塑。我在他身旁坐下，毛毯剛鋪開就被海風卷走一角，老人伸手幫我按住，掌心的溫度透過織物滲過來，帶著煙草和陽光混合的味道。“第三次來等了，” 他望著漆黑的海面，聲音里裹著水汽，“前兩次都被烏云擋了。”

等待的時間被拉得很長，又在不經意間縮短。起初只能聽見海浪有節奏的呼吸，后來漸漸分辨出遠處漁船的馬達聲，像是從時間深處傳來的脈搏。老人從帆布包里掏出保溫壺，倒出兩杯姜茶，熱氣在冷空氣中凝成白霧，很快又被風吹散。“年輕時在船隊當輪機長，” 他呷了口茶，哈出的白氣模糊了眼鏡片，“有次臺風天搶修機器，以為這輩子就交代在海里了，結果第二天日出時，浪突然就靜了。” 杯底的姜片沉在琥珀色的茶里，像枚沉默的印章，蓋在這段浸著海水的往事上。

天邊泛起魚肚白時，人群里起了陣騷動。有人舉著手機亮起閃光燈，立刻被旁人輕聲制止 —— 在這樣的時刻，任何人工光源都顯得唐突。最先被喚醒的是海鳥，它們貼著浪尖盤旋的身影，在鉛灰色的天幕上劃出細碎的銀線。老人突然挺直脊背，鏡頭微微調整角度，“來了” 兩個字剛出口，東方的海平面就裂開道橘紅色的縫，像塊燒紅的鐵投入冷水，瞬間騰起大片金紅的光。

那抹橘紅擴散的速度快得驚人，轉眼就把云層染成熔化的銅液。我下意識地攥緊毛毯，指節泛白時才發現，原來期待到極致是會讓人屏住呼吸的。太陽露出小半張臉的瞬間，海面突然變成沸騰的金湯，浪尖挑起的水珠都成了碎鉆，在晨光里炸開千萬點光。老人的相機快門聲像急促的心跳，與海浪拍岸的節奏奇妙地重合，而我忽然想起母親總說的 “日子像海浪，有高就有低”，此刻才懂那不是安慰，是被生活浸泡過的真理。

當太陽完全躍出海面，我突然看清老人的眼睛 —— 鏡片后的瞳孔里，正盛著兩輪太陽，一輪在天邊燃燒，一輪在眼底閃爍。他放下相機，從口袋里摸出張泛黃的照片，上面是穿海員制服的年輕男人，站在船舷邊對著鏡頭笑，背景里的朝陽正從海面升起，和此刻的光景幾乎重疊。“老伴兒，” 他用指腹摩挲著照片邊緣，聲音輕得像嘆息，“你看，今天晴得多好。”

人群的歡呼把我從怔忡中拉回，有人張開雙臂迎著光，影子投在沙灘上，像株努力生長的樹。我踩著被陽光曬得微暖的沙粒往海邊走，浪花漫過腳踝時，冰涼的觸感突然撞開記憶 —— 小時候發燒的夜晚，母親也是這樣用涼毛巾敷我的額頭，而此刻的海水，竟帶著相似的溫柔。遠處的漁網被晨光鍍成金色，漁民拉網的號子順著風飄過來，混著孩子們的笑聲，在海天之間織成張溫暖的網。

太陽升高后，老人開始收拾器材。他把照片插進防水袋時，我看見袋里還裝著張醫院的診斷書，邊角被海水浸得發皺。“醫生說最多還有半年，” 他把三腳架扛在肩上，紅圍巾在風里飄成團火焰，“但你看這太陽，每天都新得很。” 我望著他走向晨光的背影，突然明白那些被日出治愈的時刻，從來不是因為風景有多壯闊，而是在光刺破黑暗的瞬間，我們突然看清自己 —— 原來再卑微的生命，也能像浪花一樣，在陽光下綻放次耀眼的光。
