聾人也可以蹦迪？——是的，不要懷疑你的耳朵和眼睛。

7月初，在上海的黃浦江畔，在首屆“Connect+ 無障礙文化節”上，聲音不再是唯一的通行證。當炫目的燈光亮起，當音樂在聾人DJ Troi “DJ Chinaman” Lee的指尖流淌，當聾人手語（sign language）Rapper MC Geezer“唱”出他們的心聲，一個“聾聽共融”的橋梁（bridge the deaf and hearing worlds）有了具象。

“他們‘聽得到’音樂？”

我猜你一定想問這個問題。答題是——“是，也不是”。

眾所周知，聲音是由物體振動產生的，它可以通過空氣、固體或者液體傳播，能夠被人的聽覺器官所感知。

而聽力障礙主要依據聽力損失的程度，從正常聽力到極重度聽力損失，共劃分為若干個等級。部分聾人并非完全聽不見聲音。而對于幾乎聽不見聲音的聾人朋友，音樂通過空氣、地板、音響等介質傳來的“振動”（vibration）便成了他們“聽”音樂的“耳朵”。

聾人藝術家（deaf artist）胡曉姝（Alice Hu）是此次“Connect+ 無障礙文化節”的發起人。一直在海外從事聾人藝術項目的她五年前決定回到上海發展。她告訴我們：“我們聾人是可以用心來感受韻律的。比如說低頻就會讓身體有很大的震動，現場的氛圍、VJ視覺音樂動效以及DJ和觀眾的跳舞動作都會給我們這種音樂的體驗。”

"We deaf people can feel the rhythm with our hearts. For example, low frequencies create powerful vibrations in our bodies... The VJ's visual effects, the DJ's performance, and even the crowd's dancing, can all become part of how we experience music," said Alice Hu, founder of Connect + Festival of Inclusive culture. As a deaf artist, she spent years working on deaf art projects overseas. Five years ago, she chose to come back to Shanghai and build something new.

28歲的王子皓在北京生活了六年后，在兩個多月前來到上海。喜歡安靜的他第一次參加這類活動，看到這么多聾人朋友在一起玩時他感到“大吃一驚”。在這里他認識了很多新朋友，甚至很多“網紅”朋友，度過了一個開心的夜晚。“地板上的震感可以讓我全身都感受到音樂的頻率，還有這個扶手上也有這個震感。”他說。

"The floor trembles, letting me experience the music's pulse through my whole body. Even the handrails carry these vibrations," said Wang Zihao."This is my first time attending this event, and I'm completely amazed! I had no idea so many deaf friends would be here enjoying it together. There are influencers, new faces, everyone's chatting and having a great time."

供職于互聯網企業內容生態部門的“90后”小葉則帶著她的兩位“聽人（即聽力正常的人）”好友兼同事來到了活動現場。“站在音響旁邊震感會更好一點，能感受到音樂的變化。”

"Standing near the speakers enhances the sensation, now I can detect shifts in the music," said Ye, an Internet professional working in Shanghai.

除了用自己的身體感官去感受聲音的振動，他們還可以通過連接DJ操控臺的音樂震動背心（vibration vests）等無障礙器具幫助放大身體的感受（help amplify the physical experience of sound），而后去更好地享受音樂——甚至，成為一名聾人DJ。

本次“Connect+ 無障礙文化節”還設置了一個DJ工作坊，來自英國的華裔聾人DJ Chinaman（Troi Lee）在工作坊中詳解了聾人是如何“打碟”的，帶領到場的聾聽朋友（deaf and hearing participants）一同制作音樂。

他于2003年創立Deaf Rave，旨在為聽障、視障及有特殊需求的藝術家提供展示平臺，通過音樂、手語表演和視覺藝術融合，打造包容性音樂體驗。而作為Deaf Rave的創始人。他也希望能夠給世界范圍內更多的聾人及其他的殘疾人群體指引一個新的道路，啟發和培養更多的聾人DJ。

"I can DJ. It means now I can teach deaf children. I am hoping for the future, we have more and more deaf DJs... I hope to guide more deaf individuals and people with other disabilities toward a new path," said Troi "DJ Chinaman" Lee.

據統計，我國聽力殘疾人約2780萬人，隨著老齡化程度的加深，這一群體的規模還在不斷擴大。

“在聾人日常生活里面很少會有蹦迪的機會。大家都很孤獨、很無聊，只有聾人群體聚在一起玩兒。像這種聾聽共融的音樂節很多聾人過來釋放自己，讓真實的自己體現出來”，胡曉姝說。她希望聾人可以不是需要依靠別人生活，而是可以主動去感受和發聲。

"In daily life, deaf people rarely get the chance to go clubbing. Many often feel lonely and bored, usually only socializing within the deaf community. But events like this deaf-hearing inclusive music festival attract so many deaf people, it's a space to be free and be our true selves," said Hu. "I hope they don’t have to depend on others, but can actively experience life and speak up for themselves."

夜幕降臨后的黃浦江畔，隨著聾聽朋友融在一起自由交流，胡曉姝也希望更多的人可以認識到聾人們除了聽，什么事情都能做，而不要一味地覺得聾人很可憐或是需要被同情（feel sorry for us）。

同樣從英國遠道而來的還有34歲的聾人電影制片人Jack Smallwood，他同時也是英國國際聾人電影節（Deaffest）傳播策劃經理。這是他第一次來到中國和上海，而他已然被這個夜里聾聽共融的氛圍（vibe）還有中國手語迷住了。

（一個冷知識：不同國家以及國家內的各個地區的手語都是不同的喔！）

“看到大家玩得這么開心真的太好了。不同圈子的人都在交流，享受著音樂，這種氛圍真的很棒！中國手語真的太美了，看著就讓人著迷，我已經迫不及待想多學一些。這種視覺語言充滿魅力，（它讓）我們總能找到溝通的方式，這太棒了”，他說。

"It's really nice to see people just enjoying themselves. And if you look over there, all the communities over there talking, enjoying the music. It's just such a good vibe. It's amazing to watch Chinese sign language. It's absolutely beautiful and I can't wait to learn more. It's very visual language, and you can always find a way to communicate. It's amazing," said filmmaker Jack Smallwood.

在這個普通的周末夜里，聾人和聽人的界限在同一個音樂的節奏中變得模糊。這個界限或許本就不該存在，而總有一些共通的“語言”會超越“聲音”和“言語”。

“我希望可以把聾人拉到聽人的社會里，讓聽人也了解聾人，大家可以彼此交換自己的文化。當他們到了這個平臺之后，就會發現其實并不需要語言就可以進行融合，大家就很自然地看到你笑了，我也笑了，大家都開心。那就讓兩個群體融合到一起，而不是站在對立面，來為兩個群體破冰”，胡曉姝說。

"My hope is to bridge the deaf and hearing worlds, to help hearing people understand us and to exchange our cultures. Once they're in this space, they realize language isn't a barrier at all. We just... smile at each other, laugh together, and suddenly, the two communities blend as one. No more 'us versus them'— just connection," said Hu.
