2025年7月24日中午，教宗良十四在梵蒂岡宗座大樓接見了來訪的阿爾及利亞總統阿卜杜勒馬吉德·特布布內（Abdelmadjid Tebboune）。
會晤結束后，特布布內繼續前往國務秘書處（Segreteria di Stato），與國務卿帕羅林樞機會談。梵蒂岡國家及國際組織關系部多邊事務處（Sezione per i Rapporti con gli Stati e le Organizzazioni internazionali, settore multilaterale）副秘書長丹尼爾·帕喬蒙席（monsignor Daniel Pacho）陪同會見。
據報道，雙方重申了圣座與阿爾及利亞之間穩固良好的外交關系，并就阿爾及利亞教會的若干生活層面交換了意見。
會談亦涉及當前國際地緣政治局勢，雙方特別強調宗教間對話與文化合作在促進世界和平與人類博愛（fraternità）建設中的關鍵作用。
