今日開發商Bloober Team 總裁 Piotr Babieno在接受外媒采訪時表示：“《寂靜嶺2》在技術層面已經準備好了，但這并不代表游戲已經完成，但也基本接近完成”。在去年，曾有消息稱《寂靜嶺2：重制版》已開發三年左右。最后他們表示因為開發費用完全由KONAMI承擔，所以最終發售日需等KONAMI決定。
