在三星堆眾多的青銅雕像群中，足以領銜群像的最高統治者非大立人像莫屬——不論是從服飾、形像還是體量等各方面看，這尊大立人像都堪稱它們的“領袖”人物。

其整體形象典重莊嚴，似乎表現的是一個具有通天異稟、神威赫赫的大人物正在作法。其所站立的方臺，即可理解為其作法的道場——神壇或神山。
Its overall image is dignified and solemn, which seems to show that a great man with extraordinary and magnificent power is doing it. The square platform on which it stands can be understood as the Ashram of its practice-the altar or the sacred mountain.
