IT之家 7 月 24 日消息，在去年推出首款配備彩色屏幕的 Kindle Colorsoft 后，亞馬遜今日宣布新增兩款 Kindle Colorsoft 電子書閱讀器，進一步豐富其產品線。此次推出的新品包括一款售價為 249.99 美元（現匯率約合 1790 元人民幣）的 16GB 存儲容量的 Kindle Colorsoft，以及一款專為兒童設計的 Kindle Colorsoft Kids 套裝，售價為 269.99 美元（IT之家注：現匯率約合 1933 元人民幣）。此外，Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 將繼續以 279.99 美元（現匯率約合 2005 元人民幣）的價格銷售。
在博客文章中，亞馬遜表示：“我們的客戶非常喜歡使用彩色 Kindle 閱讀，他們平均在 Kindle Colorsoft 上花費的時間比其他 Kindle 設備更長，并且多閱讀了數百頁的書籍。這就是我們非常高興推出兩款 Kindle Colorsoft 家族新成員的原因。”
新款 Kindle Colorsoft 價格比 Signature Edition 便宜 30 美元，但 Signature Edition 配置更高，包括 32GB 的存儲容量、自動調節亮度的前光以及無線充電功能。而專為兒童設計的 Kindle Colorsoft Kids 套裝則包括一臺 16GB 存儲容量的 Kindle Colorsoft、一個特別設計的保護套（用戶可以選擇兩種款式之一），以及一年的亞馬遜兒童增強版會員服務（Amazon Kids Plus）訂閱。
在 Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition 發布后，亞馬遜曾因客戶反饋屏幕出現黃色條紋的問題而短暫暫停發貨。目前，亞馬遜在其官方商店頁面上承認“有少數客戶報告了黃色條紋問題”，并表示公司已經通過“軟件和顯示調整的組合”解決了這一問題。
